If you are going there for lunch, not a big deal. Anytime after 530 especially with a lot of games going on and too many people in there probably not the best idea, although my middle school aged daughter gets it

Going to a place where the wait staff is mostly attractive women wearing skimpy shorts is AOK in my book. The trashy part is thinking there is something wrong with attractive young ladies in shorts. Some dipsh!ts are offended by anything.

When my brother was 7, I had to babysit him and his friends from church. All of their parents and my parents went out to get dinner that night. I decided to take them to Hooters for dinner and boy that did not go over well with my parents and the other parents. They are still mad at me about that to this day

What? I mean, if I was taking elementary and middle school kids somewhere to eat, I wouldn't take them to hooters just because there are other places to go just and it just seems to be the responsible thing to do, but I don't really see the big deal about going to Hooters.

It's the perception more than anything because in reality, it's just like any other wings place. It's just that they have all female's waiting tables who are wearing a uniform (that doesn't really reveal anything more than waitresses at any other wings place).

NO to polite company
MAYBE to trashy
YES to some modern males

Dude I knew took his daughter there for years for her birthday

#1 Daughter was nice, smart, but not attractive
#2 Daughter was in her pre teen and early teen years
#3 Dad had several kids from several unmarried women

Dad likes cheap, trashy women with fake tits and hair which is his choice but to drag his daughter along especially something like her birthday!

I see low self esteem and early pregnancy in her future or a hardcore fem nazi but other way society will lose.

Hooters food sucks, especially their wings...so you're obviously not going there for the food. Why don't you take them somewhere with good food and then go look at scantily clad women on your own time.

Kids can see more provocative attire just walking around town.
Especially the guy talking about brother on beach vacay taking kids to Hooters. The Hooters gals were probably more dressed than the beach goers.

They aren't magic slut shorts. The parents are where you need to look at for those types

The Hooters in Gulfport has waitresses that look like they eat three wings for every one they serve. We won't even talk about the street whores who work at Twin Peaks in D'Iberville.

Absolutely trashy.

I did take my son and his buddies there for his 11th birthday though. It was awesome.

I find it very trashy and potentially harmful to a young girls self image and such. Found out my parents took my kids there and quickly told them never again.

The food at Hooters is the ONLY reason why I ever go there.

Not the best food ever, but I've always liked it. Good place to catch a game or a fight or whatever. I've never gone for the arse. Who cares?

As long as you are cool with them thinking that having their butt checks hanging out of their shorts is ok
