Taking middle school aged girls to Hooters - Trashy?

Friends and countrymen, is taking elementary and middle school aged girls to Hooters to dine on wings and lotsatots trashy? There is a raging debate afoot about whether this is indeed trashy or perfectly acceptable in polite society. The OT is the only place I'd come for clarity on trashy behavior.

My brother took my then middle school kids there during a family beach vacation. I don't think they ever got over it.

But you certainly wouldn't be the first to do it. We brought my daughter to a Hooter's when she was like 6 months to watch a March Madness game with some friends. She seemed to survive.

Otherwise, it's really just another mediocre restaurant that sometimes contains pleasant scenery.
