Taking Edibles in Carryon Luggage
Posted by Tear It Up

Anyone have much success with taking cannabis edibles in their carryon luggage? Anyone get busted?
I’m in AZ and got an assortment of gummies that I want to bring back to LA. I was thinking of putting them in a gummy vitamin bottle.

Nobody cares man. I dated a woman from N Cal that routinely flew with a 1/4 to 1/2 pound.

Depends on the agent. TSA normally don't give a shite about small amounts of weed.
It is a risk though.

People do it all the time. But you wanna be the guy who gets caught?
It's not worth it in my opinion. I don't want to miss a flight and put up with bull shite. I'm a pussy though. You may go harder than my boring ass.

Seems like dogs are more of a thing when I travel now. Do y’all know what they’re sniffing for?

I wouldnt try and hide them. That way if they catch you just say I was high and forgot them in my bag.

Just put them in your bag normally. If you don't have anything resembling a weapon, you'll be fine. TSA is trained to not give a shite about drugs and to only look for weapons, which they still miss all the time. They can't read a label through the x-ray.
If you're worried, just do the vitamin bottle or just zip lock bags. I did zip lock bags and threw a bag of skittles in next to it when I went to Mexico and even then I was fine.

It's according to how lucky you are. Another poster said no one cares and that's probably true in most cases but if you happen to draw the wrong agent it could become some considerable hassle and trouble

Bombs or large amounts of drugs. Just put it in a vitamin bottle if you’re that worried about it. I’ve had friends fly in from Cali with a lot more than that.

I had a friend fly from Cali to N.O. (with a prescription) and still had his shite taken. Wasn't arrested, but some TSA agents probably got high as frick.

The TSA is only concerned with bombs and weapons.
My brother flies with edibles and vape cartridges several times a year.
This may be urban legend, but I've always been told dogs can only be trained to smell bombs or drugs. Not both. If true than any dogs in the airport are there sniffing bombs.
You should be fine with a small amount. Don't be the idiot that tries to bring a bunch. If you still nervous about it, shipping in a USPS priority box is the saftest way.
