Ok thank you, did they hit their head on the ground? I know you said they passed a concussion test
Is the CT for the head?
Hopefully they are doing some blood work as well

False.
There was like an hour ER wait time. This fat dumb bitch didnt want to wait. She walked across the street and called an ambulance. They brought her across the street. She got triaged, not serious, back to the end of the line

The person shouldn’t have to pay for 2 ER visits when the doc missed a broken bone.
How do we know the second opinion is correct. I've seen doctors do that just to try and make another look bad and them good. People WANT shite to be broke. Let's see the images.

The head didn’t hit the ground hard or directly from what I was told. The helmet had some dents though. The CT was for the head. Precaution. And yes, blood and urine this time.

Ok great!
Sounds like a plan, at our hospital ER they usually run urine and blood test on essentially everyone.
Hopefully this will get this all solved once all those results come back.
Hope your friend is feeling better, I can understand the frustration

Actually it’s a figure 8 brace. I’ve cracked mine 11 times.
No. It's actually not. Just a sling most of the time. Figure 8 can actually pull a fracture out of alignment sometimes.
11 times? Maybe you need checked for osteogenesis imperfecta or are you a hundred?

At some, EMS will roll you right out to Triage and drop you off in the waiting room.

That's over a month away. If it really is broke, it'll heal. And where are the images? How do YOU know it really is broke? Radiology overread or just an ER docs opinion?

It was a feeling that never went away. Are you saying they shouldn’t have gone back to the ER?

How does a broken clavicle make someone feel faint?
Posted on 9/16/18 at 9:27 pm to SmackoverHawg
I can read a calander. Thanks. The issue will be being in shape and ready for a 1.2 mile swim and a bike for 56 miles putting pressure on that shoulder. The ER Doc got it wrong. The family was told the images would be sent to a radiologist to confirm but when the ER was called a few hours later to ask for an update, they said he wouldn’t look until tomorrow.

I guess the other poster thought the feeling occurred after the first ER visit
So they felt that before the initial ER visit?

It doesn't but head trauma or internal bleeding could

It doesn’t but pain meds will.

At the first ER, clamminess was a symptom. But they weren’t on their feet hardly at all until discharge. Only ibuprofen was given at the ER.

This is all I’ve ever been given. Mine cracks in the same place and this is over a 45 year period.

So it's the ER doc's fault they wrecked and maybe broke their clavicle? Not following. How is the ER doctor at fault for missed triathlon training? Sounds like someone's looking for excuses. Please keep us updated with images and radiology overread just out of curiosity.
And that's just a half tri. If they ain't in shape by now, they ain't/weren't gonna be.
