I think it would be better in a true "college town".

Discuss.

Nothing would be a better experience in Pineville unless you like wearing jeans to the beach and speaking in tongues.

Would Pineville be dry if LSU were still there though? I doubt it.

Pineville would be a lot different today if LSU were located there.

Easily better. Small college towns are freaking awesome.

Exactly it would be like an Oxford or Auburn in the middle of Louisiana. It would be great.

There would be a lot less armed robberies.

Fair point. Do the baptists have as much pull in Pineville as the Pentecostals do in Alexandria? If so, it would probably be a 50/50 chance it would stay dry.

Kids probably aren't being robbed on a regular basis

Pineville would resemble something closer to Auburn or Oxford compared to its current state

Except Pineville is a dump and those two towns aren't.

What do you think Oxford would look like without Ole Miss?

Oxford or Auburn would be the exact same without their schools...

T/F, LSU would be a better experience if the northern half of Baton Rouge was moved to Pineville

Ruston is dry, or used to be anyway. It is actually pretty fun college town.

Baton rouge is such a garbage town, but being close to nola has helped recruiting (acedemics and athletics)

But some of the smaller garbage lsu-e, lsu-a and what not wouldnt exist, givong more money to the flagship.

Overall, lsu would be better in alec

It's weird about it, but not completely dry.
