That math is not mathing. And if most of the money went to Taylor Swift in the form of tickets, how does that help the city?
LOL
Good lord! How do some of you even function in daily life.

The city, but how much money does the state pump in for law enforcement, the Dome, roads, drainage, tourism, movies, etc.?

I cried, Rog.
My wife held me in her arms and consoled me as I whispered "This is all I ever wanted" to myself.

The argument I see is they cleaned up for her but didn’t for Beyoncé. And stores stayed open but don’t for bayou classic.
Racism

San Fran did that for the Chinese contingency visit. The USSR did this for Western visitors.

Disgusting. That money could’ve been spent on LSU tickets or the duck blind.

$1,300 x 160,000 is not $500M.

The hotels, food, rides, etc are included in the average $1300 number. The additional amount is likely due to a multiplier often used in these economic impact studies that attempt to capture the future chain reaction of spending by the employees , businesses, etc that received the direct and ancillary spending by the swifties.
Like the Vette guy earlier, I think a lot of these economic impact studies wildly over estimate the economic impact to justify additional future spending. Without the details on how the study was performed or what multipliers were used and why, there is no way to know how accurate this number might be.
