So what is the deal. Is the gulf just popping one system after another up or is this a stall?

Yes.

And that is not an a-hole answer.

In Sherwood Forest near Goodwood. My street looks like a damn river. It’s crazy. Luckily I’m very high up naturally so water is no where near us, but it’s far worse than it got in 2016

I know this is a joke, but these days there are people who would be sitting in their living rooms with water up to their tits who will he waiting to be told to swim.

6” of rain in Lakeland. I can vouch for that reading. But less than 3” of rain at the north end of False River? Unbelievable

Anyone think I’ll be able to get to work on O’Neal Ln tomorrow? Just wondering if I should start throwing back the brews

It'll drain fast once the rainfall rate stops overwhelming the drainage.

Everyone is stuck on siegen. People are piling up like ants in the high points in parking lots. It’s the first time I’ve said out loud “turn around don’t drown”

My daughter and I have been shopping. I didn’t realize it was going to be this bad. We were at Dillards from 4-7 and went to target on Siegen from there. Target closed early. We left around 9:50. Most parts of the parking lot were flooded but we took high parts out and headed south on siegen. Everything was driveable until we got in front of Winn Dixie and Saint George. At that point on siegen pretty much everyone is turning around except for trucks.

My husband said the streets in oak hills are flooded. The flood of 2016 did nothing to oak hills.

How’s highland doing?

WAFB showed a clip of a lady in Lake Charles who said she woke up at 11 with water in her house.

I was like.. uh.. woke up at 11 am?

Those old frickers had plenty of coffee and the waitress they've been hitting on for 20 years. We'd all be fortunate to go out like that.
