You are getting trolled by communist china. They will switch to whatever is best for them. It’s best to get rid of China’s influence and limit its ability to use tiktok for its advantage, spy, or leverage what is supposed to be private data against US citizens.

Tiktok has always been a stain on the US. It’s embarrassing for a grown man to be whining about it going away.

I am not some ignorant leftist with a Biden version of TDS who has to 100% support the opposite of whatever Biden or any dem supports. I come close to opposing dems most of the time especially in past 10 years, but it’s strictly based on their actual policies after looking into them and not just because it’s from a dem. I can also disagree with Trump even though I full heartedly supported him and voted for him. I don’t agree with anyone all the time including family and friends.

The bill was actually bipartisan and was something Trump rightfully pushed back in 2020. Biden was foolish for reversing it and other stuff like with the border after taking office just so he could arrogantly claim he erased Trump. The vote in the house was 352 to 65 (50 dems opposed along with 15 republicans). Passed 79–18 in the Senate. Reason for such overwhelming support is because China is a-hole.

It would be to your benefit in future political discussions and debates to not act in the same manner as leftwing nut jobs did with Trump.

It would also be to your benefit to get the heck off tiktok ban or no ban.

Our government has been spying on us for years and now that DC cannot control the narrative, they want to eliminate the opposition. They control the media and don’t want anyone to have access to alternates. It’s that simple. Fornicate all of them.

In 2020 this would have made sense. It’s just ignorant now. And yes X can change, Facebook can flip back, and truth social can go away, but you are counting on communist china to not flip to do what’s best for them and what’s worst for its biggest enemy and threat - US (in both the word and abbreviation).

We are closer to 4 years late since Biden in 2021 stopped Trump’s executive order in 2020 for political showmanship claiming to erase Trump (along with border initiatives that were working).

It was time for divestiture of tiktok before complete ban. If China had done anything and had made true major steps in doing this the ban could have been pushed off 90 days to complete it. China did nothing but file lawsuits and brainwash tiktok users into labeling those supporting this as boomers and push communist China as their savor of freedom.

Also, It’s been banned on govt phones and I think usage in certain places already. Same for some state governments.

It’s amazing how tiktok users love communist China and push this whole freedom angle. They all use the same messaging when making their points. It’s almost like China pushed subliminal messages in tiktok along with the bans or shadow bans of anything negative about China or its control of tiktok.

We are enemy #1 to China. When they build up military it’s to face us. They have a military division of hackers to hack into US networks and steal sensitive info and disrupt services. They spy from above and send in assets to get close to politicians and much more. Of course they are a national security threat. Tiktok should just be the start of kicking them out of the US.

Its pretty simple. Citizens of this country have freedom of speech protection against the government which also extends to US corporations. The US can and should pass a privacy law to protect the privacy and data of individuals, but it cannot ban Facebook. Just like if tiktok gets sold off to a US company or citizen it also couldn’t be banned in the future.

Addiction to tiktok is a real for some of you. You can’t handle a break in staring at it or see where this could be heading even though it was almost heading in same direction before Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 election.
