I have. Multiple times. Seems like it’s less but better class of people overall.

Seems like some of these people could get a job. Some are definitely legit, but what about the other 30,000,0000 people…what makes them incapable of employment? They siphon off of the working class their entire lives then teach their children to do the same.
If any person questions the sanity of this system, they are called racist.
Just feels like free food for life should be harder to obtain. Currently, all you have to do is not-work and the government will give you free housing, food and healthcare for life. Except it’s not the government’s money, it’s the taxpayers. So politicians bribe people to vote for them, then they get to live for free.

The Snap programme is issued by 42 million Americans - around one in eight - and costs almost $9bn a month.
I read a statistic that 60% of the people receiving benefits were illegal immigrants.
If the number is even 10%that seems outrageous and counterproductive. If you create the incentive for illegal immigration by giving them money etc that's a huge problem

Hey if being lazy is more important to you than living in a shack and having no assets, well the USA is where you want to be

Had a client...she was a high school teacher and she was black. At that time which was probably 10-15 years ago she was teaching a class that was pretty much on life skills...This program was funded by federal grant money....The program was to teach, mostly females, life skills and to become self sufficient and not grow up on the government tit...
This teacher who was a black female told me point blank....These kids today grow up thinking it's the governments responsibility to support them because it's the only life they've known because, their mom's came up the same exact way...
The grant money ran out after 3 years and the classes were abandoned. Figures!

That’s hard to believe, the Democrats solution to a failed problem. Add more money, it will fix itself.

So true. Never fix a problem, just keep adding tax dollars.

Sure. It’s statistically impossible that illegal immigrants on SNAP outnumber native-born Americans.
But if you look at it by percentage of country of origin, there absolutely are immigrant groups that use SNAP at higher rates than native-born Americans.
And in those cases, immigration from those countries should be stopped immediately. We are a sovereign nation, not a charity.
I can't find anything in your post that I disagree with.

so you’d just prefer to be lied to? got

If we’re bringing in large numbers of immigrants from a country whose residents consistently require significantly more taxpayer-funded assistance, then we should stop immigration from that country. We’re a sovereign nation, not a charity, regardless of whether those newcomers happen to vote the way your side prefers.
I didn't make that argument.
I don't think SNAP should exists in its current form at any level.

Better yet, let’s see which races pay the most in taxes to fund these handouts.
If I had to guess, it would be the majority race.

What you probably read was that 60% of illegal immigrants receive benefits. Words matter.

A lot of so-called racism is in fact misplaced class envy.

No one said anything about race but you inferred there was a racial component to SNAP.
Looks like you outed yourself as the racist one here.

This country doesn't give a shite about poor people. We're run by oligarchs. Good luck, poor folks.
The majority of this country doesn’t know what truly poor is. It can’t be that bad if our poorest citizens our some of our most obese citizens.

If you think that the job of the Government is to take care of people from cradle to grave,
LBJ welfare plan made some seem to think this is supposed to be passed from one generation to the next. I often think how much the U.S. would have been better off by making this just a 1year type of thing for individuals instead of a lifetime option for many.
