What’s with all the souped up golf carts rolling around the DR Horton neighborhoods these days? Brothers family had to buy one to keep up with the Joneses. I guess kids can’t ride bikes anymore.

I’d love to know how many of them are financed for 96 months.

I don't see any LED lighting on the roof, or speakers mounted anywhere, so it's not in a burb of Dallas like Prosper/Frisco.

There’s a bunch of gold carts in old goodwood / Tara but they’re nothing special. I would like to get one eventually. I know several families that use it to get to the pool and even some restaurants in the area.

We have one, its a factory lifted Club Car, no truck nuts, not financed. Our neighborhood has a couple restaurants and a small post office with no mailboxes at our houses. It makes it nice to go to get the mail or haul our old people up to the village square for concerts and such.

I'm seeing more and more of them in and around old mandeville. Alot of the time being driven by young 12/13 kids.

My wife mused on them today.

And then when they get hit by a car they will blame the driver. Some of those kids driving them can barely see over the steering wheel

These things are hilarious. And the FB fights over them on the neighborhood board are even better.

Sad thing is they’re all ‘lifted’ so you can’t even use them as an actual golf cart unless they had a ladder attached to grab a club.

No golf cart, but I do have a Kubota UTV. It seats two- me and my dog. Also has a 45 gallon sprayer in the back of it.

Very cosmopolitan!

Sounds like a convenience store at the front of a trailer park.

Those are big in our neighborhood. We live near a golf course so it is used for going there or the community pool/tennis courts. We don’t have one but I may or may not have given my neighbor a couple hundred bucks to use theirs whenever I’d like

We have plenty of them rolling in my neighborhood

But let a kid (or me) come thru on a 4-Wheeler…

All holy hell breaks out on our FB page lol.

Just wait until I get my hands on a Honda Big Red 3-Wheeler……
