Suicide in Eden Isles (Slidell)

For reelz. This occurs all the time. However Very sad. Majority of “gun deaths” but shouldn't be a gun death stat. Ask ice T.

The first 8 or so were warning shots to him/herself.

Well, there are 8 gunshot wounds to the back of the head and his hands are tied behind his back, but according to this note this is totally a suicide so we’re going to have to rule it that....

Not usually 7 or 8 but it is very common for suicidal persons to crank one off into the ground or air before they off themselves. The experts are split on whether the person is verifying that the gun works or if they are working up the nerve to do themselves. Unfortunately, they don’t get to interview the person about it.

A pretty close friend just committed suicide last week. One in the ground, one to the head.
Iraqi war vet, NOPD vet, CBP officer. Wife and 3 year old son. Terrible stuff man, my prayers to the family
