Pepsi+Subway……both suck.

Subway is gross. It doesn't matter what sugar water they serve.

Are they getting bought by YUM?

Subway thought "How could we make our product even less desirable than we've already been doing?"

Pepsi offers a big check up front to take them in. It was a franchise wide battle for us to convince one of our owners not to make fhe switch. It's easy to blinded by that big check when you don't work in the stores

Thankfully, Subway sucks so I never go there anyway.

Yeah, I am a Coke Zero guy. If it is a Pepsi place, I get Diet Dr. Pep or just an unsweet tea. The problem with tea is that you never know if the place will have shitty procedures with their brewing. You could end up with sour shite water.

I’m one of those weird ones that just avoids places that only serve Pepsi, would love to see the net impact of a decision like this after a few years of disappointed responses to “is Pepsi ok?”
If they have Mountain Dew and Diet Mountain Dew, the switch from Coke products to Pepsi products is a huge plus in my book.

Subway seems on decline too

Not necessarily, depends on the distributor
Pepsi always has Dr Pepper on fountain, always….
Bottle and can is a different story.

It's good to have places to switch up a bit and go with a Pepsi from time to time.

I like Pepsi, and RC for that matter.

Fountain sales are what have kept Coke on top for a long time. I think if you look at just can/bottle sales, Pepsi products are pretty close.

At least here, Subway dropped off when other chain sub restaurants showed up with better quality meat/cheese. And if you live in a large enough area there’s likely a local option significantly better and probably cheaper.
I don’t know that I’ve eaten at a Subway in over a decade.

Diet Pepsi>>>>>Diet Coke

I am a Coke person all the way. But probably the biggest complaint I have about moving from Mississippi to Iowa, is the amount of restaurants that serve Pepsi over Coke…..
