When I was young, I think it was my brother who told me that if someone drinks pepsi they are gay. And so, probably through my teenage years I always associated Pepsi with gay people (and I think I only thought dudes were gay and thought it was normal if two girls were together.. Again, probably some stupid shite I was told as a kid).
So now, even as an adult who knows better, in the back of my mind when I hear pepsi, I still think that "its gay" or think about when I thought it was "gay" , but if I go somewhere and I order a coke and they ask me if Pepsi is okay, I then tell them I want tea or something.

The amount of places in Iowa that serve Pepsi instead of Coke products is unbelievable……my office did not offer any Come products in their vending machine until I was hired. And I don’t get it at all……

I haven't drank more than the very occasional soda in probably 35 years.
But when I did, as a young person, I liked Pepsi and 7-Up better than Coke or Sprite, and I liked Mountain Dew a WHOLE lot more than I did Mello Yello. The orange drinks for either were dead even, no preference there. I've never cared about Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb.

Subway isn't very good anyway. Jersey Mike's has better sandwiches. I started boycotting Coke over the "be less white" training conducted by their HR department. I have not had one in almost 4 years

Diet Pepsi and Pepsi Zero are MUCH better than Diet Coke (yuck) and Coke Zero. I always preferred Pepsi (as a kid) over Coke as well.
