Chicken carbonara is the GOAT sandwich, shame their shitty greedy management destroyed the chain, best product by far of the sandwich shops.

Wait, what? This is a thing? So when they do it Mike's Way, I tell them "oil and vinegar on the bread please"?

yessir, they have to do it pre-mayonnaise though so make sure you say it before then.

Firehouse is my go to. I get the Steamer on wheat and use some hot sauce to dip it in.

Subway was good in the 90s. But now any time you go in there you smell like toasted bread the rest of the day. There's one literally across the street from where I work, and I think I've been in there maybe twice in the last 6 months. And that's only because the other places close around 2 or 2:30 and they're the only thing open unless I feel like walking several blocks.

I don't know if you're a LivePD fan, but there is a Scholtzsky's about a block away from the Palmetto Inn.

What sucks about Subway is when you are in line behind someone who gets to the front and then pulls out a piece of paper and a stack of debit cards.

So now they will go from 26,000 nation wide locations to only 25,500 with plans to open probably at least that many internationally.

There are dozens of sandwich shops. Subway is the worst. The service is shitty. They are stingy with ingredients. I had ants in my bread once.

Jersey Mikes
Firehouse
Street Breads
Jimmy Johns

All better options than Subway here in town.

Was my go-to meal transfer back when the Outakes at the 5 had a Quiznos. I can't count the number of times I walked over there from WCA right before they were supposed to close. I love Quiznos, so it sucked that all the ones around BR disappeared.

Fast forward to today, and I live within walking distance of two Subways and almost never go to either one.

Once I had Jersey Mike’s and Jimmy John’s I haven’t stepped foot into Subway....and that was about 10 years back.
