Especially when you add pepperoni and extra mayo to everything.

If it were true avocado/olive oil mayo and uncured pepperoni, then those would be two of the healthiest things there. But they use pretty shitty ingredients all around, and obviously all of the bread is bad for you.

Nitrate/nitrite and sugar-added cold cuts, processed cheese, pickles/peppers w preservatives, sugary soft drinks, questionable looking veggies, processed/ soybean oil mayo.

Every once in a while it would be okay, if you get real cheese and no bread ,but very meh over all.

Can't agree that Subway is really healthy. Super high sodium highly processed meats on pre-fab chemical laden bread. Nah. There are FAR more healthy and fresh options.

Subway not that healthy

Infinitely more healthy than Sonic, McDonald’s, Wendy’s or Burger King.

NOPE

"The restaurants were strikingly similar by several other measures. Diners ordered 102g of carbohydrates at Subway "

Holy smokes

Their business model was stupid long term. Basically they allowed anyone to open one anywhere. Didn’t matter if one was close by.

There are about a thousand other sub shops that are better. Their product overall sucks, that is why they are closing.

Yep, I will continue to go to Jason's Deli and their awesome salad bar.

My point is for the price and availability it's a healthier option compared to other quick lunch or dinner service restaurants. Every place u eat with deli style cuts is gonna have processed meats and I believe over the years they have removed a lot of chemicals and preservatives from the bread. Subway has fresh vegetables options and don't think there are any fried items. But once again it's what u make of it. Can't believe I'm getting this worked up over a sandwich shop.

What’s that like 10 for each state? No one will ever notice. These places are everywhere.
