Subway did not follow up on their claims to have fresh food. Busted for having old vegetables, etc in some stores.

It might've been even earlier than that. When they first opened, they were the best sub chain I've ever been to. Then they exploded in growth, and went to complete shite. It might even be shittier than Subway nowadays.
