For college aged kids, it's about as bad as getting drunk and taking turns with the dog's shock collar on their neck.

pretty sure the common cold is mostly rhinoviruses with like 15% being attributed to a coronavirus

How does that change my point? The 15% of coronavirus "colds" are not one-offs. You and I have both had it more than once.

My point is that we don't have the history to know if it conveys immunity or for how long. I've not seen anything stated that Covid is magically different from other coronaviruses and thus gives permanent immunity.

Without knowing immunity duration, I see intentionally infecting yourself with a more serious virus than the flu, stupid.

Would you go to a flu party?

Okay, so actually having the virus won’t convey immunity but you are gonna be trying to shove the vaccine down everyone’s throat once it’s developed, right?

A vaccine will magically work but the real thing won’t make us immune. That is what the social media health experts are trying to make us believe.

Well I don't understand at all how a bullet is more dangerous than a cold.

Coronavirus: Could 'immunity passports' create an antibody elite?

quote:

The idea behind immunity passports, is that of a certificate confirming that you have had Covid-19. It could be used to enter places that those people without one are barred from.

To get one, you'd have to test positive for antibodies created after exposure to the virus.

quote:

But could there be a sinister aspect: the potential for a supposedly Covid-immune elite to develop?

quote:

"You can imagine a situation where if you can get hold of some sort of certification, it will open up doors for you that wouldn't be open to people who can't have that certification.

"It could create a multi-tier society and increase levels of discrimination and inequity." Prof West also warns that the entire premise of immunity might be on shaky ground.

You realize this implied wishful thinking passive aggressive threat doesn't really work anymore, right?

People are literally having covid parties, and you're still "doing your part" by condescendingly implying some death threat.

Look I'm all for college students still going to bars and having get togethers, but it's ridiculous to be wreckless like some people are. Party responsibly

We’ve been sending our expensive grandparents to flu and COVID BINGO parties.

Two are on vents, one has permanent heart and kidney damage, one no symptoms. They just won’t die.

That guy was 51. Big difference between that and a college kid.

Now i will warn people off intentionally getting corona, because i feel like my lung capacity is still fricked from the virus. I only notice it after running or other physical activities, but i just feel like im at about 70% lung function and i was sick months ago

asymptomatic cases and long term lung damage

I wasnt asymptomatic but i never had anything more than flu-like symptoms and didn't have to go to the hospital
