How many years were there two named storms prior to the official start of the season then a third on June 1st?
2 storms that only existed because of modern satellites

Yeah that one day South Carolina storm was pretty queer. I hate when we waste names on that total crap that comes and goes and no one remembers the next day.

We’re leaving for Ft Morgan Sunday. Gonna leave out that morning and allow for plenty of drive time. I expect some heavy rain bands and gusty winds making that drive

Yeah, same, were planning on leaving about 1, moving that to 10 and just gonna cruise it. Looks like we should be good weather wise after Monday

It's big and the actual center is on the south side of the clouds you see. Kind of an odd appearance tonight, almost linear. Warm front like feature Levi mentioned evident. Part of the evolution to a comma shape by tomorrow and should roll up into a tighter looking blob by Sunday.

Should have stopped by and said hello! Hope you enjoyed Ft Morgan

Seems like every year we have a more active season than before

Every year they tell us we will but it rarely happens.

Do you happen to know what those islands are? Just curious. I'm guessing something off the coast of the Yucatan?

I do not and went and looked at the comments to see if it was stated but no luck

The 0z EURO came in about 40-50 miles westward. Now taking it into Vermilion Bay again. It also dumps almost a foot of rain over NOLA.
GFS is west a little, too. NHC might shift the track a tad to the left.
ETA: the NHC didn’t nudge the track to the left but they did acknowledge that the GFS and EURO both moved westward.
