Between 5"-7" over much of the BR area. That's a lot for 24-36 hours while a steady south wind keeps the Amite up.
12z GFS has a little less rain but a tad stronger than the previous run.

What does it take for Alabama to evacuate Orange beach and Gulf Shores?
Supposed to head there tomorrow.

I’ll be heading that way as well.

GFS comes in with a 990/989 coming in down near Cocodrie.
It's been trending a little stronger.
There isn't as much dry air getting wrapped into the center as runs yesterday. Still a big circulation and won't be a "pretty" storm.
3-6" of rain here for NOLA/Northshore/Coastal Mississippi on the run.
Seems pretty reasonable.

If that happens there will be power outages.

Probably some with 45 mph gusts but that shouldn't be widespread.

I’m vacationing in Donaldsonville on Sunday/Monday. Will I be okay or do I need to cancel? I have super saver tickets into BTR, are those refundable?
Meet me at the Chance on Monday, I'll buy you some ribs.

This would not cause any major issues for the Amite.
