Lots of capable people in that area. Hopefully they can get them out. I have a really young kid, cant imagine having him and the wife in the attic for this shite.

I couldn’t either sadly it’s a friend of ours… and the last update we got was he was able to put a hole in the roof so they could get out the attic if needed…

I truly feel for y'all that are going through that. We did the same thing last year here in Lake Charles. It's emotionally taxing, mentally exhausting. I truly empathize and feel for all of y'all.

I’m so glad we left. My wife and I got in a big fight about leaving last night and I eventually won. Some friends that stayed in our subdivision in Ponchatoula are texting us and saying they can hear trees snapping all around. I can’t imagine having my 10year old and 3 year old there right now.
I’m heartbroken and so defeated right now. I’m scared to death what I’ll find when I do make it home.

All I apologize. In and out of service. I am holed up in mid city New Orleans without ability to get whats going on. I’ve heard power outage is a disaster. Is there anything else on that level?
