WLTX is reporting that Metairie Towers is an assisted living with roof blown/partially blown off and only one firefighter is able to get there to help .. it's near St. Francis Church?

Anyone who remembers Isaac which should be everyone should have evacuated Laplace. This storm was going to drive a lot of water into the SW part of the lake and that’s what happened.

My poor friend from high school tried to evac last night from Luling. A drunk driver hit her, totaled her car and she had to come back home. She is living in hell at the moment. Luling is getting pounded.
