Jesus Frick!!! I saw a car that a car parked on the neutral ground this morning already had its windows busted and contents stolen way before any kind of inclement weather hit G.I. much less nola.

Most people don't know the feeling of being powerless to stop a force that may take everything you own from you. I owned a home half a mile from the beach in corpus Christi in the direct path of Harvey. I drank and smoked to forget the fact that my home was going to get destroyed. Right before it made landfall it took a 15 mile jaunt north and took out Rockport and Portland. My house had minor flood damage. Some coworkers had complete losses.

It's a surreal feeling to say the least.
