Offline and off location is different things. If those tendons broke or some how disconnected Biden will shut everything in the GoM down.

The entire knowledge of the human race is contained in the OT, I'm convinced. We have extra special focus on truck nuts and oilfield work. But we're good on other stuff too.

It’s like mining for gold. You have to sift through a lot of mud for a while, but you’ll eventually find some gems.

Does it really matter if the eye goes over denham ? Is. BR still gonna get it bad? I’m just trying to find anything to make me feel better at this point.
It looks like according to the NHC’s latest track the storm will stay east of Baton Rouge proper and that does make a difference - the further east it is the less wind and rain you get. Every mile it moves/wobbles that direction the better. Not that BR won’t have some pretty rough weather but I don’t think it will be anything close to catastrophic or historic in my opinion. It seems according to the models that the worst weather will be TS sustained winds and gusts up to hurricane force and 7-10” of rain.

The EOC stands up as soon the threat is confirmed. Then the OIM has his personnel start shut in procedures. It is my job to work with the Department leaders to start evacuation prep. We get non essential first using helicopters and boats. The Last 6 flights off the rig are essential personnel that was needed to complete the shut in and hand off the rig to onshore personnel in Katy Tx

Just talked to a shell guy. One of his co-workers claims he’s in communication with the remote monitoring system on Mars right now.
