Alright, I'm really not liking the rainfall totals the NAM is pushing. The last run kept the highest totals just offshore. This run brings it inland. This is total precipitation

While the system isn't moving super slow, the turn back to the NE causes a pivot that leaves training storms over SE Louisiana until the turn is completed and the system starts moving away. Totals will add up fast.

Better to take 90 to Lafayette then taking I-10 through BR?

Interstates through BR are a complete shitshow right now.

I already had that one looping, I just assumed it was the same thing Jake was referencing in the tweet you posted.

That has been my biggest worry since that turn started getting sharper.

160 mph in Covington for Katrina… That’s probably a 70mph embellishment. C’mon man

Just get to the eastern end of New Orleans (Chalmette) and stop driving whenever you find something vacant.

You did not get 160 mph winds north of Covington for Katrina. GTFOH
110 mph winds just don’t have the same ring to it

I dropped someone off at about noon. Was through precheck in 15 minutes. Left on a 3/4 empty flight.

I've been using Tweet2Gif for downloading Twitter gifs. The few I've tried today have said "Unsupported File" or something like that. I don't know what the deal is.

Cope long cut (pre shift) and a six pack close to hog out time works pretty damn good too.
