Lakeview, mid city and Broadmoor? Heck no.
That’s a shame, too. Mid city never flooded - in 1995 I showed up to school to find out it was closed because so much of the metro area had flooded - we didn’t even know

But a couple years back, one of those damaged big Oaks finally died. And this summer, it looks like another damaged big Oak has died. I will wait a year or so to make certain before cutting it down.
Do you happen to live in Central? My parents lived there up until 2 years ago. They had 4 oaks die from their yard alone and dozens in the neighborhood. It was biazarre.

Why does the scale on that wind gust map go from red to black to white back to red. How the hell are you supposed to know which red? Stupid.
You serious, Clark?
I mean, look at a hurricanes structure, and then look at that map again.

Not that anyone was wondering if this was going to happen, but the offset HT pattern is usually a sign of an intensifying system.
Makes sense and noted for my future reference.

Yes, I’m serious. You shouldn’t have the same color on a scale twice. It’s stupid.

Why?
You’re the prick that will need help in the middle of the storm and putting other people’s lives in danger as well.

My house is new construction in mandeville. The lot next to me isn’t cleared yet and it’s all pine trees. That has me worried if winds get bad enough here
Posted on 8/27/21 at 9:45 pm to RummelTiger
Yeah it shifted East some.

Hell, at this rate we may get sustained Tropical Storm force winds in North AL. Been a while since we got that.
