Do we have an idea of wind for Iberville?

I've been helping family with generators all afternoon.

Anybody know where the gas is at in BR? This is frickin ridiculous

The new Racetrack at Perkins/Staring and the Racetrack on Essen by the interstate both had gas a few hours ago.

We’ll be on page 300 before Ida even makes landfall

I typed the above on page 145. I didn’t expect us to be on page 300 only 22 hours later. Thanks for all the great information in this thread

Tell them to start hauling arse down the interstate, roll the window down and hang halfway out the window. Once they hit 110 mph they'll get the gist.

I see 15-20" of rain potential for Ascension/EBR. At least SWB had all those ditches cleaned out since the spring issues...right?

After a land interaction, I really think it's going to hang steady for a few hours at least. Despite the convective burst, it still took some friction and will need to tighten back up before being able to really take off imo.

If you had done this in Biloxi, it wouldn't have ended well.

I have tried. But I guess it’s just something you have to experience for yourself.

I know folks waiting until Sunday to pull boats and campers from their camps.

Can’t tell ‘em nothing.

I'm not too far away. I'm in Springfield. I haven't seen anyone really say anything about Hammond to Livingston area. But I would imagine with us being about 35 miles from Baton Rouge to expect close to the same.. but who knows.
