The models have been pretty inconsistent on this one. Looks like we are about 6-8 days away from landfall depending on path/speed but the models had a much clearer picture of where Fred was headed than this one.

Going to interesting to see what the 00z Euro has. At the 12z it had a weak TS into Pecan Island. When both models start agreeing that’s when the trouble starts

It has the potential to be a big system, so it will have issues consolidating but the setup that models are depicting over the Gulf is concerning.
