Yeah early summer was wet. August has been pretty normal

That game should be played with no fans in the dome.

TWC interviewing LC mayor Nic Hunter

Not showing the B-roll of Stephanie Abrams nearly dying from falling glass during Laura last year

Just moved to mandeville right off of I-12 a couple months ago. What’s it like over here for a storm

Rode out Katrina in that spot. Lots of downed trees = widespread power outages

Hopefully it stays west enough

So at this point I should assume my flight out of MSY on Wednesday isn’t going to happen?

I would bet money on Wednesday flights going off as scheduled

In Destrehan with 3 and 2 year olds. I typically wouldn’t leave unless we’re looking at a Cat 4+ Even if it stays a 3 should I be booking it? What’s St. Charles Parish/Destrehan expecting?

yeah I keep asking about Thursday

even in a serious event, I'd assume MSY would be having flights by Thursday

Msy is usually operational the next day save for a Katrina like situation where it becomes and emergency hospital, but now they have 2 airport terminals so they could use the old one for something like that if needed

IDK about you, but I have no interest being stuck somewhere with no power with multiple children. It's still hot AF outside so losing power for any length of time could be an issue.

To each/his her own.

that's what I figured. It's not like MSY is located in the lower 9th and has to worry about 4 feet of flooding

After riding out Delta alone last year with 95 mph winds (at the very, very most) at my location, I wouldn’t ride out such a storm with little kids if I had a choice.

If this is a major none of this matters and what he said is relevant....for 100+ MPH wind it will be wet enough to take down a lot of trees.

Now if it comes in at 50-75 then you might be right.

Also I'd wonder how updated your maps are....some places got a decent amount of rain in the last 10-14 days.
