15 minutes after you take a Xanax after you have checked to make sure your generator works, you have plenty of gas, 5 times as much alcohol as you think that you will need, and food.

Do they transmit the data back pretty quickly, or is there usually a couple-hour lag before we know what they know and our weather experts analyze it for us?

That's the only way I could describe Lake Chuck post Laura to people. You could drive past entire neighborhoods and not see a single house without a blue roof. And that was the entire city plus suburbs.

Plus, I crawled around in a lot of those attics, and it was disturbing to see how wood bracing in the attics was broken/shifted, indicating the house took a gust and "flexed."

That's his joking side. He's adding some lighthearted humor.

He's joking. He's not banking on the GFS in fantasyland, I promise.

If they find the center to be way off from what was thought, it could create some big adjustments.

I hope they find the center to be somewhere in the Atlantic.

Even if you were here for Hurricane Zeta, you have NOT gone through a Category 3 hurricane. Yes Zeta was upgraded to a Cat 3 at landfall but those winds were confined to a very small section of the immediate coast. Most only experienced strong Tropical Storm to high end Cat 1.

For anyone referencing Zeta in terms how to view this storm
