I don’t understand how certain meteorologists live and die by certain models. Like the GRAF, imo they should use a blend of a few models to get an average instead of just using one model.

How did this go from 30% chance over the next several days last night to 80% this AM? Is that a pretty big miss?

NHC does this all of the time. They need to say something when it hits category red...nothing else. The early yellows give a false sense of security. Worst of all, it may be too late for me to buy 100 rolls of toilet paper, 10 loaves of bread and 10 cases of water!

I'm no expert but I follow some who are and the general consensus of those folks is that it will slide south of LA and into south TX
It's way too early to make that call but either way this should not be a dangerous storm...just a rain maker
