They’ve changed their coupons too. They had a BOGO free footlong coupon just a year ago, but now they don’t even have that.

They are surprisingly busy because they are the only joint in town.
That makes sense. Still creeps me out, but that’s probably just my aversion to Subway in general.

Which city are you in? Because I just punched in your exact order in my app for pickup in Lafayette and the total was $12.28. Did you add any extras?

If you don’t want inflation, go to Sam’s club or Costco.

This shite ain't healthy, but we went to Sam's last weekend. Four huge slices of pizza and four drinks was less than $11.

$17.84 for a chicken rotisserie wrap

Go to grocery store and buy the ingredients. It's one of those things that don't make sense to me like bottled water.

I’ve always wondered how subway manages to stay in business even before all this price hiking. Idk anyone who eats there. You can make a ten times better sandwich at home.

Here is a recent article about Subway.

Startup Nation

quote:

In responses to the original post in 2006, people identifying themselves as Subway franchisees or Subway employees familiar with franchise operations provided various profit estimates.

Some said franchisees should expect to see 20% profit margins. Tightly managed shops can push 25% cash flow, and ones with weaker operations might clear only 15% a year.

That means a location on the high end of the sales chart might throw off $150,000 a year or more. A struggling Subway in a low sales location might clear as little as $40,000.

Well at that price they probably only need to sell a few sandwiches a day.
