Double roast beef at Jimmy John’s and a water is $9 and change. And double Jimmy peppers and o&v.

I used to get the coupons in the mail but not anymore. The last time I got fast food I was blown away at the price. 2 hamburgers and a drink at McDonalds was $6.50. The last time I got that exact order it was $3.20 something. The prices at Walmart have also skyrocketed.

I remember when I first started going low carb many years ago and ordered something without bread and ended up with a completely different thing from what I ordered from 90% of places.

I think Subway has a buy 1 footlong get a secondone half price or some times it is buy two get the thrid for free.
Sorry, but I am a fatty and a sucker for these deals.
It is the same with McDonalds and Popeyes. Some times I feel like I am robbing the place when I buy enough for Lunch and Dinner for sometimes about 10 dollars. Popeyes though has increased some of their promo pricing their two can dine for 9.99 increased to 10.99, and now is 11.99.

The problem is that food has shot up across the board. We gotta eat something. The $17 fast food combo meal is a kick in the nuts but then you go to a Mom & Pop restaurant or the grocery store to buy ingredients to prepare something in your own kitchen and it's the same sticker shock. There's no escaping it.

6oz of sliced ham at the grocery store is like $6-$7 right now. I occasionally shop at Sprouts and it’s insane how much stuff costs there.
