These threads are useful because they always single out the nuts. I think someone should compile a list we can consult so we know what we're dealing with anytime someone is making a crazy argument on a subject.

I am just saying there is a big difference in believing the earth is flat and this.
Not really. In fact, these two theories are interrelated from a flat earth person's perspective. Think about the main points here. In each case we have
-Photographic evidence
-Eyewitness accounts
-No actual reason for the conspiracy to continue being
propagated other than (because of the soviets), or (because of the illuminati) which are both
retarded arguments, seeing as how the former no longer exists and the latter never did.

Can you explain why we had to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to launch rockets into space with our space station, but need nothing of the sort to launch back from the moon off of some rock with the same equipment? I honestly don’t understand that.
Because the Moon is 1/6 the Earth's gravity. Are people taking fricking crazy pills? Conspiracy theorists are so goddamned stupid

This! Just because someone is a good actor or athlete, does not mean they have intelligence. However, this is sad coming from someone with a college degree, i'm curious what his degree was in.

Like, say, getting there? Keeping a crew alive? Returning from Mars? aka, a successful manned mission is not possible at this point in time, because the technology isn't there yet.
You are playing semantics with the usage of the word “technology.”
We aren’t waiting for some invention to transition it from impossible to possible. Will new things need to be developed for the mission? Of course. But the things needed won’t just appear. The pieces are already available in day to day usage.
The only thing left is to assemble and put the parts together.
Which takes money.
Which NASA doesn’t really have, unless they cut all other missions for the sake of this.
What other limitations there are is simply the will.
I’m not sure we could do a Moon landing under current mission parameters.

Sorry if I upset you. I don’t really think I am stupid. It’s just hard for me to understand how technology is so much greater in space, even outer space, than here. And somehow, we have yet, nearly 50 years later, to be able to come up with a method to visit the moon again because tourists would pay a whole lot of money to go.
Lack of an impact crater.
Waiving/rippling of the flag in photos when there is no wind on the moon to cause such.
Shadows in all different directions in photos.
Van Allen Radiation Belt and whether technology in 1969 could handl this.
Lack of stars.
The C clearly engraved on a moon rock in one of the photos.
Exact same backdrops in the Apollo 15 mission from photos taken “miles apart” according to NASA.
The unexplained object hanging from a string in reflections on the masks in Apollo 12 astronaut photos. Even NASA has not disputed or controverted or explained that one.
Crosshair photos with objects in front of them.
There’s enough issues to raise questions.
As for the flat earthers...well, nobody has fallen off the edge yet. Not even Truman.

I'm not 100% sure of what you're trying to say here, but if you mean you are struggling with the concept of gravity, don't worry, so does everyone. It's the same reason for the video where "the astronauts look like they're on trampolines." The footage looks really really weird, but there's a reason for that, the astronauts are dealing with Alien gravity. It is really weird and it does make things look really weird. This is what happens when you are in 1/6 the Earth's gravity.

The Apollo missions cost roughly $150 Billion in today's dollars. I don't care what kind of high roller you are, there is no market for moon tourism

Well, that’s two questions you have answered. And the others?
And, the video looks perfectly normal when you speed up the footage. It appears to have earth like gravity and the actors, uh, astronauts appear to possibly have motions suggesting they have strings attached to lift them. Strange that they can jump on the moon with astronomical height, yet still come back down?

True. I am actually very stupid. Trying to ask real questions to be answered by the OT is very stupid. Be well, my friend.

What if I were to tell you that the movie-making skills or special effects technology that would have been necessary to fake the moon landing didn't exist in 1969?
So we did not have the technology to fake going to the moon while having the technology to go and return from the moon.
Hmmm..that makes sense.
Posted on 12/11/18 at 10:45 am to GetCocky11
There is one theory that we went to the moon, but actually filmed the moon footage in a studio afterwards due to the camera technology at the time not being able to perform in space. This theory helps explain some of the inconsistencies in footage. Joe Rogan has mentioned it before on his podcast. Probably BS but fun to think about.

Instead of scrutinizing things which have explainations....riddle me this:
Why would the entire world join in on the conspiracy?
Including the Soviet Union?

Lots of very smart people are skeptical about the moon landing.
No they aren't. Some dumb people are.
2 Things:
1) The number of people who would have to be in on a faked landing is so high that there is next to no chance that someone wouldn't have slipped up in the last 50yrs either accidentally or on purpose.
2) We were in the middle of the Cold War with Russia. If They didn't believe we did or had proof you better believe they would've let the rest of the world know we made it up.

What are your explanations for the questions I posed? And, the Soviets have not joined in this at all. In fact, they have commissioned people to question the supposed landing very recently.

It was all based on the promise of Kennedy that we would land on the moon. Haven’t been back since 1972? Ha!
