Meh. Y’all moan and complain that kids need to be outside doing stuff like y’all did growing up… and then when they do stuff like you did, you shoot them and say they were irresponsible and at fault.

No, they shouldn’t be on his property but it’s literally a kids will be kids moment. Guns blazing on someone running away from you is the first, second, third and fourth issue that needs to be addressed here. It’s not even worth mentioning the kids being on someone else’s property

You don’t pull the trigger unless you’re absolutely sure what you’re shooting at. Honestly, anyone who would do that deserves to go to jail and lose their guns.

Sure they were. Lying little twats. Probably stealing from his property. Who plays hide and seek in some else’s yard in the middle of no where.

That guy is frickED.

You can not leave your house and shoot people just because they are on your property.

He saw people on his property running away and shoots. Its pretty crazy you were a perfect 14 year old, if you live in or near a rural area I am sure you never went on someone's property.

He is a fricking idiot. Someone running away from you is not a threat. If I was the girl's father I'd go pay this a-hole a visit as soon as he goes back home. Maybe wait until he isn't at all a threat to me and knock the frick out of him.

Dude is an idiot and could have politely taught the kids why you stay off someone's property. Now he's gonna end up being Tyrone's bitch for a little bit

You never hid around someone else's property playing hide and go seek as a kid?

Exactly. I remember my grandparents had 6.5 acres and we always played in the "woods" which went into two other property owners property.

And the thing that gets me is that he shot her in the back.. She was running away. If he couldn't tell if a person was running at him or away from him then he shouldn't have access to guns. I am sure I will get downvoted for saying this, but if his eyesight is that bad then he shouldn't be driving either.

People are going insane..

??? The girl didn't die

well, of course they will have to kill her to get any charges to stick. It seems as if she is hard headed and doesn't want to die.

fricking around and finding out, obviously.

This is a typical OT thread where the idiots are forgiven and the dude minding his business on his property is the pos. Making excuses is why this continues to happen.

Dude didn’t have to shoot and kids didn’t have to be there, unfortunately one thing led to another.

And this comes from me who acted like a moron as a teen but now with kids I wouldn’t suggest running through someone’s property, especially when it’s not a neighborhood. Especially during a time where crime is an all time high, illegals entering our country, and more firearms than when I was a kid.

None of your “they shouldn’t have been there” victim blaming justifies him shooting a kid in the head.

He fricked around and is going to find out, maybe he should’ve went to law school to understand a good or bad shoot before engaging a live target

Victim blaming huh? Stfu

You just posted earlier that your experience tells you to avoid blacks when walking on the street, but kids can’t avoid other people’s property

I am sure if your ilk ever gets their way and bans guns all criminals will respect this

The "ilk" I am thankfully counted among is the "ilk" who knows that the right to keep and bear arms is based on doing so responsibly. This "ilk" is the problem and are secretly planning on banning all guns. The "ilk" who thinks keeping and bearing arms is a right which comes with no responsibility is the solution...brilliance right here...

I never met a gun owner with an opinion on the subject who did not espouse the need to keep and bear guns responsibly. Of course most of them mean other people, not them...but it seems at least this one poster thinks responsibility is not important....

Eh....Seth Fontenot only served 10 months and he killed a 15 year old kid. This dude only wounded a 14 year old.
