I still feel like theres more to this story. Were the guys being obnoxious loud aholes at the store.
I mean ive been to starbucks multiple times without buying anything. Usually the person im with would buy something, but i never do. I have never had a problem like this.

I read yesterday that blm was protesting outside that Starbucks location, so it’s probably in that managers best interest of safety that he/she is no longer there.
This situation is pathetic. What the hell are the employees supposed to do if the company has rules, and people aren’t following them and are being abrasive. I’ll be sick if those 2 guys get one dollar out of this.

I love how the CEO of a billion dollar corporation was so eager to throw his own employees under the bus for the sake of two non-paying customers who started the altercation.
Really a great culture they have there at Starbucks.

Does this mean I can go hang out in Starbucks and bomb the restroom without buying anything and if I refuse to leave they won’t do anything?
Here’s the thing, close your eyes, now picture I’m white.

So I wonder if vagrants will be able to occupy Starbucks now because the managers will be too afraid to ask them to leave.

My guess is the location has had major problems with squatters refusing to buy anything while taking up tables and using the bathrooms.
It falls into the category of “If there’s a rule, there’s probably some a-hole who caused it to be written.” Like the codes of conduct and dress code at the bars on Third Street in BR.

Liberals love Starbucks
I thought liberals loved local independent coffee shops. Preferably with in-house small batch roasted beans.

Yea “no longer works there” could imply she just moved to the Starbucks down the road...

Basically. And downtown Philly has a huge homeless population, which is likely why this store has that rule in the first place.

A group of white guys wearing MAGA hats should go squat in a Starbucks and troll the hell out of them all.

This is such a stupid situation.
The real lesson that should be learned here is that if you want to use a business’s amenities, buy something. This should not be a story.

Absolutely. It’s in Philly. This is another case of mental midgets getting worked up without being able to comprehend the entire situation.

Also, some Starbucks are set up differently from others. Some of them welcome the idea of you set up there as a place of business or to study. While others remind me more of a Mcdonalds in the morning.
