Some police officers in Tempe, Ariz., say they were asked to leave a Starbucks coffee shop on the Fourth of July because a customer complained they “did not feel safe” with the cops present, according to reports.

Cops should have said “make me” to the barista.

Uh, I hate authority but when I’m in a bad situation “call the cops”

We are the cops a-hole. Now what.

Shame on the officers for going to Starbucks since it is such a liberal, left-wing, rule-of-law hating corporation who would not give a donation to support the US military troops fighting overseas. Don't spend your money there! Go to a locally owned coffee shop that supports law enforcement.

They should close all Starbucks for a day for sensitivity training toward our officers.

That’s freaking pathetic.

If i worked in a place like that, I’m saying no to a request like that.

Wait until all them black folks pull a 'mob' robbing on starbucks like they did to NorthFace. They would be wishing they had guns or could call the cops.

Would have been ironic if that 5 minutes after they were forced to leave someone had robbed the place or shot it up.

Starbucks coffee is terrible, why were the cops there to begin with? Dunkin Donuts or even Parkers gas station is way better.

Because they were polite and respected the private business’s decision. No matter how ludicrous.

I mean here we are discussing it from a news link so they obviously did run to the media

Edit

The union said it did not blame the Starbucks corporate office, adding it looked forward “to working collaboratively with them on this important dialogue.”
