Just got the notice that we will not be going back to the office so I am going to break down and get a standing desk. Any recommendations?

I have been looking at the Varidesk pro 48 or the electric desk 60x30.

I’ve been using a full desk from Varidesk for probably 5 or so years now. Love it. That model will hold two screens and a laptop in the space where the keyboard is, sure

I bought a cheap one on Amazon. Wobbly as shite but does the trick. And get a cushioned mat for your feet.

I have an Amazon version of the Ergotron one. It works perfectly. I've had it 3-4 years and it was maybe $150-175. I have 2 large monitors and a wireless keyboard and mouse. My laptop sits over to the side/back of it on my desk.

i have the one that looks like that from costco i paid $99 for.

for $229 you can get the electric version of it which adds USB chargers as well.

for $249 they have an entire standing desk with soft-touch controls to raise and lower.

i love mine.

I have the biggest Varidesk they make. Think it is the same one you posted. Holds 2 32" monitors. Pretty awesome!

I looked at them for awhile. I ended up getting an IKEA one, it got very high ratings for the stableness and electronics in it. The base is super stable and I got a different top I made out of some local butcher block wood I got to cut to the size I want instead of the particle board. I would have gotten this real wood one from ikea but it was out of stock and they didn’t have a date of restock.

Looks like Ikea got rid of the gerton for a top, don’t know what replaced it.
