i'm as big of a liberty guy as you'll find, but i bet you they're trying to be beligerent and playing the "i'm the media" card
likely also doing the classic contemporary media attempts to interject themselves and create a story about them
in other words, i most likely support the arrest b/c that much douche in one area can kill people (and is the main reason this has gone on as long as it has. the media is fueling this to get ratings, and now they're literally fueling it personally)
