I really don't but its not because Brown was black. He could be white, asian, or latino and I still wouldn't truly care. If the cop was wrong I want to see him face justice but we have had enough instances of this and no matter what happens he will not be exonerated in some peoples eyes.

Here is a link to a purported eyewitness that put his story on YouTube. You will note at 1:55 and also later he seems to state that the shooting officer is black. He of course refers to him as the N word but with an A on the end. I am not as up on current Urban terminology as I should be but I think that is what he is saying. His version of events, including his recollection of the officer walking up and shooting the youth point blank in the head while he is kneeling with his hands up, may be a result of the Purple Drank that they are mixing up on the counter during the video. What do you think?

Just watch the video and listen to it in context. I really think he is saying the officer was black.

I can't listen to the audio now, but I'm supposed to believe some random arse dude recounting the events whilst chilling in his kitchen?

Our generation wouldn't even know what racism was if it wasn't shouted from the roof top everytime a white on black crime is committed. And usually it's just an alleged crime, like the Jena 6 situation.

According to one of St. Louis news outlets, Brown had shoved the cop into his own police cruiser and, while engaged in a physical confrontation with the officer, reached for the officer's weapon.
Who knows what really happened, but if that did in fact happen, it is no wonder the kid was shot.
Now, did he have to get shot EIGHT times? Probably not. And I have no idea what led to the stop in the first place. But you have to imagine that you're going to get shot if you reach for an officer's gun.
All the same, terrible situation. North County St. Louis has always been a bit of a powder keg.
