we will know more shortly.
I hate the cops more than anyone, but I think it's setting up their way here.

quote:IMO, the best eyewitness statements occur right after the event. Everything said now is convoluted to fit with the bigger agenda.
Everyone's testimony is contradicting everyone at this point.

At about the 6 minute mark of that video, you can hear another eye-witness story. He talks about all the running but none of the hands up stuff. He literally said "he kept coming towards the police."

He probably could have gotten away if he had his pants pulled up.
And no sandals. Sandals are a mother fricker to escape 5-0 in.

Yeah but you're not a trained officer. I think they should be trained to show restraint. Not unload the gun.

Yeah. There's going to have to be some pretty damning physical evidence to make this go anywhere.

Yep. That's just where I heard the line about "towards the police"... the conversation begins around 6

Just listened to that. Pretty much backs up what the friend said on the radio

On your second point, when your life is in danger, you shoot to eliminate the threat.

The kid shot in Euharlee, GA would have been a good one for the media. But he a poor white kid. So no story. Or Kelly Thomas in California. But he was crazy white dude. So no.

They didn't pick up a case. They immediately took it and ran with it , turning it into another case of the racist institution picking on the black people.

FWIW, every single officer in the country is trained the opposite. They are to show restraint up until they need to use deadly force. At the time they feel they need to use deadly force, they are trained to do exactly that. Shoot center mass then head. No limbs, to "wing" them, not into the air to warn them. They are trained to neutralize the threat.
If the threat keeps coming, they are trained to keep shooting. That includes unloading the gun, and reloading, if needed.

There's not a lot of circumstances when you aren't being shot at that take 6,7,8 bullets to the body that won't eliminate the threat.

if he kept coming after him, you shoot until he goes down.
