I think it will come down to his toxicology report. If it shows that he had something in his system, then they should be able to use his actions just prior to the shooting as an example of his irrational behavior.

At about the 6 minute mark of that video, you can hear another eye-witness story. He talks about all the running but none of the hands up stuff. He literally said "he kept coming towards the police."
I do think the headshot was wrong.

I was saying nothing conflicts, there may be parts that don't have something to either conflict/confirm with, but nothing conflicts.. just like the other witness statements I believe (correct me if wrong), but nothing can be trusted without physical evidence.

Everyone's testimony is contradicting everyone at this point. Like I said, its getting so convoluted that we'll never know the truth and the protestors are not going to like the outcome.
There are multiple issues with the eye witnesses that have made statements thus far. And FTR, I wanted to believe them.
1) The buddy is now associated with a robbery just moments before which he conveniently didn't mention and left out of any statements... Kind of hard to believe him. Additionally, his statements have become more and more scripted in every subsequent statement. He is being coached and its pretty clear
2) The girl, who I think is the most credible witness, keeps referring to Mike in a way that sounds like they were friends. Gonna be hard to take her testimony at full face when she's got skin in the game.
This is the reason all officers should be required to wear cameras.

I didn't agree with any of that either. Just linking the article that clearly shows he robbed a store and assaulted the clerk.
Character has everything to do with cases. Trayvons character was relevant too and it was bullshite that Zimmermans character was fine to attack but not Trayvons.

Someone called into a radio show claiming to be friends with the wife of the officer and she said that he didn't stop even when hit with bullets

Specifically what is corroborated?
1) the officer didn't know initially
2) he was shot a bunch of times
