I still haven't seen any evidence that would require a cop to manhandle a guy who took $40 worth of swishers.
He didn't just pocket some swishers, he assaulted a store clerk.

You protest when you have a reason to protest. They just wanted to be a mad mob.
I don't think that's accurate. Sometimes proactive protesting makes for a better outcome. And by protesting, I mean protesting, not rioting or looting.

There have also been reports that the police officer recieved injuries during the altercation between him and Brown. Im unsure if this report is credible.

it does seem like this is taking longer than it should doesn't it?
All the info usually become public until it goes to court.

It was a strong arm robbery.

I've worked with lots of them. Broke bread with them. Shared drinks with them. People of every stripe.
Hell, a lot of places I've worked I've been the minority.
I have zero problem with hard working people of any color.
These hoodrat thug looters deserve no respect. They operate off of greed and chaos and a victim complex and the idea that things are owed them and if they don't get their way they can use violence as the first resort.

Racism by blacks doesn't excuse racism by whites. Someone said all that needed to happen was blacks need to hold each other accountable. That's all.
You, being the racially sensitive man you are, said "That won't happen." You are sure black people will never act in a lawful productive way. That's pretty much racism.

True. But there is something (someone) behind the scenes on this one with their own agenda...

For that to happen, the adults' mentality will have to change first.
Which is not going to happen, which is why I say real men are going to have to step in eventually. You want it to change, you are going to have to help it along.
For instance..
3rd grade kid in our after school tutoring program stole a purse out of a womans car. Comes to find out he lives with his mother and gang member cousins who are in their 20's. Kid is neglected at home and the only way to get any affection was to act out on their request to steal something to get involved in their gang. How do you expect that kid to act when he hits his 20's?
Adults aren't going to change. I can promise you that.

I agree. And that's far different than all black people won't hold each other accountable.

Agree. The question is going to be was the line drawn in the altercation and did Brown cross it. Shaping up to be tray on and Zimmerman 2.0. Going to be another interesting court battle.

I still don't think it's unreasonable to protest immediately with clear goals.
Protesting is a right. Clear goals are great. What we know from experience is protest usually leads to riots, looting, etc. I was pointing to cases such as this where there was no leadership. Needless trouble for a nice neighborhood ensued.

How was that protesting before the facts? That was a 20-year dispute
