The copy of the police report posted says that the officer working the robbery went to the shooting scene and positively identified Brown as the guy in the video. Cue conspiracy and cover up theories.

And if they release this info on Saturday, it's a lot tougher to say there's a cover up. Having said that, there's no apparent coverup. Ockham's razor and shite.

Honestly, I dont really care about the Brown guy, more details will surface as this goes on which should clear things up a bit

I'm more pissed off about the militarization aspect of law enforcement, and I'm glad its being brought to light more in the media. It sucks that it took this incident to take place before mainstream picked it up, but hopefully some good can come out of this in that regard.

He had on a white shirt and khaki pants (the one where he was dead in the street).
I saw that one, too, which is what prompted my question. I didn't see the hat and couldn't tell the type of shoes.

Someone on CNN stated that case law has ruled that it is legal to shoot someone in the back that is fleeing you. I didnt know this.

As a result of public outcry and a demand for justice, the Ferguson police officer's name was released and happens to be, Darren Wilson.
The first thing we would like to assure the world is that this is a horrific coincidence.

I don't follow why it's a horrific coincidence. Sounds like he's already condemning the other Darren.

May I assure the world that this is not the President of the Ethical Society of Police's Sergeant Darren R. Wilson who is African-American, and happens to be an 18 year veteran of the St. Louis Police Department.

I'm just glad this isn't about race.

Found a better resolution picture and difference angle. The shoes match.

Really?
They're upset about the quick response? Not all cameras and police clocks are synced up.

Justice in the black community must mean putting someone (that isn't a criminal from the hood) in prison for killing one of their own regardless if it was justified or not.

The majority will ignore most facts presented by police as a cover up and no matter what is presented most will say he was executed.

Some, not the majority. If it were just a report, more might by into a cover up theory. The pictures don't lie though.

His killing may still have been unjustified. Likely is was justified at this point, but we still don't know.

I agree. Plus, thats a pretty cowardly thing to do... shoot someone in the back who is fleeing you.
