You don't shoot to warn or injure. You only shoot to kill. Say you shoot someone that is a threat to you only once. Then he pulls out a gun and shoots you in the head.
That makes you the dumb shite that only shot him once. You continue firing until the threat is no more.
I don't agree with shoot to kill. I think and still think that shoot to maim should be the norm/

But the physical confrontation in and of itself does not justify the shooting.
If you had a gun, and some big 6'4 guy punch you in the face and tried to fight you, please tell me you won't shoot him.lol. Hell I would. frick that.

I'm glad all these protesters bosses let them off work

You're assuming the person shot once and then waited to see if it's all clear.
I don't know what specifically happened in this incident(and neither do you). I'm merely stating that if you're going to shoot someone, you don't shoot one bullet. There's a reason why magazines have more than one round in it.

but robbery might, if it further proves he was forceful towards the cop
Y'all are missing the point. Even if Brown had taken ZERO from the store. Even if Brown had paid for his swishers or whatever. Even if Brown left the clerk a $100 tip. None of that matters. What matters is the fact that the pictures show Brown in a physical confrontation with the clerk.

No, you shoot to eliminate the threat.
If you shot him 3 times and he's incapacitated, you cant shoot him a 4th.
*Not saying thats what happened in this case.

This legal analyst on cnn is trying to explain that the robbery changes things, but the anchors are trying to tear it about and deflect.

and risk the other person being able to draw his weapon and fire at you?
Good luck with that.

The reality of it now is that there's a 95% chance that the officer isn't charged. And absent some groundbreaking physical evidence, I'll be ok with that.

IMO the star witness from the Brown side is this Tiffany woman. Even with these revelations, LE is going to have a hard time dealing with her testimony. She's a business woman. She doesn't know Brown. Doesn't live in the area. Was picking up an employee. Was 20 feet away when it all went down. Johnson's testimony is worthless at this point.
Agree 100% with the addition of may or may not have been justified. Let's wait and see.

This is just another case of making judgments with little info. The cop may have been justified in his actions...let's wait and see.

Ah. I thought the Ferguson Dept. one had already been shown, and then the St. Louis one was just posted. I guess it was just the St. Louis one that was posted.

Yep. I'll take my life and the chance of jail over death anyday.

Using a firearm is deadly force. You use it to stop the tgreat in nstances of a threat of death or serious bodily harm to yourself or someone else. You pull the trigger until the threat is gone.
IMO a 6'4 guy that's commited robbery, attacked an officer and tried to disarm them then takes a close range shot and tries to flee is still very much a threat

America is a better place because Michael Brown is not in it. A dude robbing a grocery store was killed shortly after by police confronting him. You dumd asses are still convinced it's about standing in the street? That's a big arse dude, Johnson said the cop was trying to pull him in the car, yeah right. Thug got what he deserved.
Well it's pretty clear you're biased
Come on ghost, if some big guy hit you and tried to fight you and you were strapped, you wouldn't shoot him??? You'd let him get away so he can find you and later??

If the store owner shot him when it happened...... would you even know that Furgeson, MO existed

I'd shoot, but not 4+ times
And if he's on the floor ad surrendering I wouldn't shoot him again.
