He said it wasn't shoplifting. It was shoplifting.
It wasn't just shoplifting. But it was shoplifting. I don't know wtf this argument is over but language means stuff.

Nothing has changed from the first few hours of the incident. If they had all this information on Saturday (and they did), their CYA move cost lots of people lots of money. It's indefensible.
It's called you have to examine people who claimed to have seen the incident. By releasing the info you taint those people as they can change the story to match the facts. You withhold info so that you can disqualify those who are obviously lying about seeing the incident.
Not sure why this is so hard for you to understand.

Sec. 29.02. ROBBERY.
(a) A person commits an offense if, in the course of committing theft as defined in Chapter 31 and with intent to obtain or maintain control of the property, he:
(1) intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly causes bodily injury to another; or
(2) intentionally or knowingly threatens or places another in fear of imminent bodily injury or death.

That's not mike brown in the video. He was wearing khaki shorts
The shading makes them look like they're not khaki.
But the footwear is very distinctive. You can see it in the unedited photos of his body laying in the street.

dude, your claim of Simple Robbery was fabricated.
Just admit it.
It is being classified as Strong Armed robbery.

I personally don't trust St. Louis County PD, and I think they waited all this time to forge and falsify evidence. #Ferguson #MikeBrown

Tell that to the people of Ferguson who have had to live in fear for the last 5 days. Tell that to the County police officers who've worked overtime all week. It doesn't pass the laugh test.

His buddies statement are now very suspect. I think the telling thing is going to be the communications between the officer and dispatch. If they have audio of him saying that he is looking for the suspect and that he now has eyes on him, that completely discounts the friends account that the cop was telling them to get out of the street.

I can't argue with people who can't read. I didn't say it was a simple robbery.
