I really can't believe the account of his friend could be accurate. If true, the cop really is a thug and needs to be put in jail.

It's a good thing you're not black otherwise you would miss the your race still gets treated differently in a "post-racial America"
Anyone seen the interview with the governor? His stumbling and mumbling doesn't look well for this case

I've said multiple times that the initial shot could likely be justified, but I don't see any explanation for the other 5-7 shots.

His accounts of how it wrapped up have become more and more embellished the more he speaks, however, another witness as corroborated everything up until the kid took off running and the police confirmed the initial shot came from within the vehicle.

Look, life is just different here than wherever you are. Here, off of the main roads, the kids play basketball, play football, ride their bikes, walk, run, play catch in the streets. For the most part, kids move off the street when a car is coming. If they didn't see it coming, cars slow down until the kids see them and move aside, maybe honk to let them know they're there so the kids can move aside.
Sorry to disappoint. Not everyone here is an a-hole that would tell a kid "Get the frick off the street."

Thats what they need to do. Put cops on foot patrol in minimal armor and allow them to interact with the protestors. Johnson said that he planned on walk to the quick e mart himself and interact with the protestors.

I think most everyone is. Does that mean we can't give our thoughts based on what little is known? I mean, yes, for all we know there is video that this cop shot him execution style as the final blow or for all we know, Brown dove head first into the cops SUV in order to get to that gun in his holster.
