If Tim Fitch was still STLCOPD Chief, last night is completely different. He was a great chief, and got out while the going was good, once Dooley decided he wanted a stooge that parroted everything he did, illegally with Sansone.

There could be video and audio of MB being the aggressor and attacking the cop and trying to get his gun while saying "I am going to kill you white cracker" and the people who believe this is wrong will stay say its wrong.
On the other hand the people who think the cop must have had a reason to shoot would quickly call for justice if a video surfaced showing the cop was wrong.

Exactly! You will always have the people (like the 9-11 conspiracy nuts) who go against the grain that will scream "cover-up". Media will perpetuate the "cover-up" angle because that's what sells.
At this point the only thing the police can do is try to keep the collateral damage to a minimum and find out what actually happen.
