St. George needs to find a LEO that trained under Harry Lee and make St. George to the rest of Baton Rouge like Jefferson Parish was to the rest of New Orleans.

We are currently paying property taxes and sales tax to the EBRSS.
We are paying and will continue to pay EBRSS until we have our own ISD. It's been that way for decades.

I'd venture to say that we have paid our share of taxes and then some.

If they stop the new Jeff Terrace school today, I'd be fine with that. I really don't see the need for it really, but maybe they need another magnet school to pair with Lee.

The governor has ZERO discretion here. Either he finds the petition and process in compliance or he does not. If he does, he MUST, by law, call a election on the next available election date outside of a window to ensure proper time to legally prepare for the election. This date and the process of incorporation is set by law. Not next year or in six months or when and if the governor feels like it. If in compliance, the governor MUST call an election for the NEXT election date.

If he doesn't, I GUARANTEE you there's a court order compelling him to do it already drawn up and there's a judge just itching to sign it and knock the governor's dick into the dirt.

I'm not sure why the census region in BR got the name in the first place though.

I honestly hope the st. George people know & are prepared for the brutal fight this will be...last time they weren't prepared or ready.
In addition to every legal challenges, there will be typical name-calling (racists homophobic bigots), the doxxing of every signer of the petition, "protests", politicians blathering on about "Together" "Forward" bullshite, personal attacks on anybody on st. George side.
Together BR & the other radical left holier than thous will run to their national enforcers for money, legal advice & whatever else they need to defeat st.George by any means necessary.
