Sure thousands would line up for all of their jobs in seconds and not complain about anything.
Management should immediately start running ads for their replacements.

His argument mirrors that of what a lot of female athletes are saying. It's worth listening to his point of view.
Censorship it is just foolish. It's something modern Democrats are pushing hard. I really miss the day when Democrats were actually liberal and not totalitarian dirt bags.

Open a place in India and hire people in that country who will work for less money.

I'm no conservative, but I support encouraging open discussions like Rogan provides. People trying to censor everything are the worst. Let there be a marketplace of ideas and flawed opinions to choose from.
Spotify should quietly move those jobs to Austin.

Fire them if they walk off the job.

It’s a tough situation. On one hand selective censorship shouldn’t be something anyone wants, but on the other hand you have highly powerful people like Joe Rogan spreading just straight misinformation at times and susceptible audiences (takes a look around) will eat it up because they don’t know any better.

Not sure why the liberals working at Spotify would not like Rogan. He's a Bernie supporter.
One would think they'd be creaming their panties over it.

Nothing is ever “enough” for the new version of the Democrats!

Man, if they start editing content I might have to subscribe to Spotify Premium just so I can drop it.
I dropped them several hours ago. Adam Curry was on Rogan's show a couple of weeks ago and his podcast(No Agenda) is no longer on Spotify.
He mentioned that they're sending contracts to podcasters that have ridiculous stipulations in them...copyright, ability to edit(censor), use their material, etc.

They’re easily replaceable. Spotify should say Bye Felicia and fire them for job abandonment if they walk out.

My God, it’s like anyone who isn’t a left wing lunatic is canceled.

It’s still up for me.

The outrage over his podcast is of course ridiculous but what did he think was going to happen when he signed the contract? I don’t understand why in the world he would in the first place. By all accounts he was making millions on his own and didn’t really need them.

That’s kind of how the entertainment business works, though. It’s all about leverage - and Rogan has plenty. Something tells me his contract doesn’t remotely resemble your run-of-the-mill Spotify podcaster’s.

This Spotify move has been nothing but a clusterfrick. Joe needs to get the frick out of there

It seems like you are pretty familiar with the details of his contract to make that statement. I haven’t seen the contract myself though. Can you share the sections of the contract that were terrible for him and his show compared to his prior situation?

Because he’s been highly critical of the whole woke movement and critical theory stuff. That’s the cornerstone of today’s social justice activism.
