I know hubba IRL and none of you know what you're talking about
It gives me a nice chuckle but I understand why people react like they do to stories like that.
Looking like I might be headed up to Nashville, soon. Let's meet for a brew and catch up. I want to migrate my Plex server off of Shield and onto a NAS. Need your advice.

But you do appear to care about getting special treatment from poor schlubs in real life because of “‘muh federal government job.”
You were flying on a flight for free paid for by taxpayers. Those “joe tourists” you derided are folks actually paying for their tickets. That guy you got fired works (or did work) in the private sector. You mocked a guy doing an honest day’s work because of how little he gets paid.
This entire story makes you sound like a raging dick who throws their weight around on people with less power than you. The fact you are holding onto this story 10 years later as a point of pride confirms that conclusion.

But, but the customer is always right.
Staff gets attacked all the time in the ER and hospital will never press charges even though the patients who do this are trash

Some of these flight attendants are just so proud of themselves and their shitty $25k a year job. Whatever
Jesus Christ, no wonder you get shitty service.
You're way out of touch.

I see the Hubba side. Did you not read where all he asked for was water and that the mush for brains flight attendant later told him to eat shite?

Bingo. Imagine deriding paying passengers while you didn't pay a thing. The epitome of entitlement.

There is usually a reason for limited drink service, especially on short flights. Yes, first-class has more options but well it's first-class. But if everyone in the other classes decided to get up and go to the front because they wanted a different beverage than was being offered then it becomes a clusterfrick. The first-class flight attendant humored him like they often will do.
Ever been on a flight with limited beverage service and because of so many people slowing down the FA they can't get through the entire cabin? I have but I didn't pitch a fit about it or try to circumvent my present station in life and leverage a first class perk.

Man you ain't lying. I fly every two weeks from Nashville to Dallas then on to Lubbock for work on Southwest. It's exactly like flying Greyhound. I don't drink coming or going so them serving booze doesn't mean shite to me.

Ok, whew! I have a group of friends headed back from Vegas on Southwest today.
Thought it may have been them

I believed everything you said until the flight attendant said he pulled your name from the manifest and was contacting your employer.

Not to mention he’s supposed to be a badass NSA guy and flagrantly flaunts a fed law by leaving his assigned cabin and approaching the cockpit, something that airlines are a little sensitive about. Joe tourist is paying your salary and airfare, douche nozzle, and the flight attendants that I fly with have been making six figures for decades.

The OT never fails to entertain and his post continues that tradition. None of that stuff happened except the part he was actually on a flight.

That part I’ll buy. Forgot to add that hubba badass ain’t getting any airline employee fired by dropping a nickel to the TSA, Doesn’t work that way. I will stipulate that the gay flight attendants are often belligerent and sassy.

Not to TSA but to the airline is a different matter. I flew back from SAV to MSY via CLT a couple of months back. I fly three to six times a month for business. Not the most but I am not a newbie. I used to fly enough to be top tier on three different airlines which is no small feat.
I had a confrontation with a FA who had already thrown someone off our flight prior to taking off. She lost her shite, got in my face and screamed at me for having my mask off to take a drink. This was before the mandated "pull the mask down and put it back right away" guidance. After she lost her shite, which was pretty amazing at how loud she was screaming at me, I asked if the pull the mask thing down was a rule or just her preference. She then stated "that's it! You are now on the Federal No Fly List!!!" I kind of laughed.
After landing, the lead FA was more than anxious to get me off the plane. Nope. I want to speak to the OIC. I briefed the Pilot. He took me up to the gate and we got the Ground Security Coordinator called. I related to him and he took additional witness statements. I actually received a call from a supervisor with AA Customer Service advising they had terminated her the following week. He also related that they were aware I was booked for international travel and that they had called TSA and I wasn't on their list.
Frankly, I was shocked the incident went as far up the chain as it did and said so. The CS guy ended with "your complaint isn't the only one on my desk regarding her and masks. I can't say more."

Although there isn’t evidence that alcohol played a role in the confrontation, the airline has decided against resuming alcohol service due to an increase in “passenger disruptions,”
frick Southwest.
Spirit is serving alcohol on flights, yet Southwest can't even serve coffee. What a joke.

Yep. Like I said on page 3. I’m a straight male FA and I basically refuse to fly with the gay males because they are frequently on power trips, sassy, and confrontational for no reason at all
